The Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association (TOCA) is a professional organization dedicated to recognizing excellence in green industry communications. Each year, TOCA honors outstanding achievements in writing, design, photography, videography, and interactive efforts through its prestigious awards program.
On May 2024, OlivSEO achieved a significant milestone by securing the First Place New Media Award for our work on the Tahoma31.com website. This recognition underscores OlivSEO’s commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions within the green industry sector.
What is more, our wonderful collaborator – Stacie – got awarded 1st place for Writing a Featured Article (MARCOMM). The article, “Building the Battlefield” was published in “By Design” magazine, the official publication of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, (Fall 2023). The article chronicles the design and construction of The Battlefield at Shangri-La on Monkey Island, Oklahoma, utilizing Tahoma 31 Bermudagrass. Judges comments noted: “Interesting info conveyed in an intriguing format and style. Everyone loves to read about the challenges of creating a course!”
he Tahoma31.com website underwent a comprehensive redesign in early 2023, featuring new graphics, enhanced functionality, updated content, and extensive research. This transformation not only improved user experience but also provided valuable information to industry professionals and consumers alike.
